And now to begin the meditation:
Sit comfortably. Let your legs unfold. Rest your hands gently in your lap, palms facing up. Begin by feeling the weight of your body on the chair. Let your awareness drop into your feet. Feel the floor beneath them. Now breathe.
Take a deep breath in. Notice how your chest expands. This is life force energy. Breathe in again and allow that breath to travel deeper. Let it move into your lungs, then downward into your stomach, hips, knees, ankles, and feet. Gently spread your toes and feel the connection to the ground.
